1. About These Terms

These terms govern your use of conradannan.com and any services provided by Conrad Annan ("I", "me", "my"). By using this website or engaging my services, you agree to these terms.

2. Services

I provide AI consulting, automation, and strategy services including but not limited to:

• AI Opportunity Finder assessments
• Custom tool and application development
• AI readiness assessments for organisations
• AI strategy and roadmap development
• Experimentation framework design
• AI upskilling programmes
• Ongoing support and maintenance

Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing are agreed in writing before work begins via a separate engagement agreement or statement of work.

3. AI Tool (/tool)

The interactive AI analysis tool on this website:

• Provides general guidance and suggestions, not professional advice
• Uses AI (Anthropic Claude) to generate responses — outputs may not always be accurate
• Should not be relied upon as the sole basis for business decisions
• Is provided free of charge with no warranty or guarantee of results

4. Intellectual Property

My IP: The website design, content, branding, and methodologies (including the "Problems First" framework) are my intellectual property. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

Your IP: For paid engagements, you own all custom code, tools, and deliverables I build for you (100% code ownership). My underlying methodologies, frameworks, and templates remain mine and may be used for other clients.

5. Payment

• Pricing is as quoted in the engagement agreement
• Payment terms: 50% upfront, 50% on delivery (unless otherwise agreed)
• Invoices are due within 14 days
• Late payments incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate (Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998)

6. Delivery & Support

• Custom tools: delivered within the agreed timeline (typically 10 working days)
• Strategy engagements: delivered within the agreed timeline (typically 2-8 weeks)
• All deliverables include 30 days of post-delivery support unless otherwise stated
• Ongoing support is billed monthly and can be cancelled with 30 days' notice

7. Confidentiality

I treat all client information as confidential. I will not disclose your business data, processes, or strategies to third parties without your written consent. This obligation survives the end of our engagement.

I may reference the engagement in my portfolio (e.g., "Built an automation system for a property services company") without disclosing confidential details, unless you request otherwise.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• My total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement
• I am not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
• I am not liable for losses arising from AI-generated content or recommendations
• The free AI tool (/tool) is provided "as is" with no warranty

9. Cancellation

• Before work starts: full refund of any deposit paid
• During the project: you pay for work completed to date, calculated at my standard day rate
• Ongoing support: cancel with 30 days' notice, no refund for the current month

10. Data Protection

I process personal data in accordance with my Privacy Policy and the UK GDPR. For engagements involving your customers' data, a separate Data Processing Agreement will be provided.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

12. Changes

I may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page. Continued use of the website or services after changes constitutes acceptance.
